Bodh Gaya is the most holy place for the followers of the Buddhist faith all over the world. It is famous as it is the place where Gautama Buddha is said to have obtained Enlightenment (Pali: bodhi) under what became known as the Bodhi Tree. For Buddhists, Bodh Gaya is the most important of the main four pilgrimage sites related to the life of Gautama Buddha, the other three being Kushinagar, Lumbini, and Sarnath. In 2002, Mahabodhi Temple, located in Bodh Gaya, became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bodh Gaya is situated in the Gaya district of Bihar, and receives millions of tourists and Buddhist pilgrims each year.

• Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Bodhgaya

  DAY 01:

  Arrive at Bodhgaya. Welcome garland on arrival. Transfer to hotel. Evening visit to Mahabodhi Temple. Overnight in Bodhgaya.

• DAY 02: Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda / Bodhgaya:

  Breakfast at Hotel. Excursion to Rajgir, Rajgir is a site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Afternoon visit Gridhkutta Hill, Bimbisar jail & Ajatashatru Fort. Lunch serve at Rajgir and then will drive to Nalanda, which is 12kms. Drive (15 minuts), and It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddist Studies., Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world University established in 5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha and also the founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this university for years. There is even a monument to facilitate Chinese traveler monk and writer Hiuen Tsang who studied at this university in the 7th century A.D, overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

• DAY 03: Bodhgaya:

  Full day at Bodhgaya. Visit Sujata Village, Niranjana River and various International monasteries. All meals, overnight at hotel In Bodhgaya.

• DAY 04: Bodhgaya:

  Breakfast at hotel. Later day free at leisure. Evening transfer to airport to connect the flight for onward destination
