Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words "maa" and "mata" are commonly used in India for "mother”, and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Vaishno Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess, located at the Trikuta Mountains within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

DAY 01: JAMMU/KATRA
Arrival Jammu thereby Drive to Katra. On arrival check – in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 02: IN KATRA
After early breakfast trek to Vaishnodevi shrine for darshan. The shrine is approachable on foot or by ponies a 12 kms long well laid footpath. Late afternoon return to Katra for dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

DAY 03: KATRA/PATNITOP
After breakfast leave for Patnitop. A distance of about 70 kms will be covered in about 2-½ hrs. Arrive Patnitop by lunchtime. Spend afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Patnitop.

DAY 04: PATNITOP
Full day sightseeing of Sanasar (17 kms). Sanasar is a cup shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. The meadow has now been developed as a golf course. It also provides opportunities for Paragliding. Dinner and overnight in Patnitop.

DAY 05: PATNITOP/JAMMU
Morning drive back to Jammu. The total distance of 110 kms will be covered in about 3-½ hrs. After lunch sightseeing of Jammu City visiting Ranbireshwar temple, Raghunath temple, Ranbhir canal garden. Dinner and overnight in Jammu.

DAY 06: JAMMU/DELHI
After very early breakfast drive to Delhi. Distance of about 595 kms will be covered in about 12 hrs. On arrival check-in at hotel or transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
